A rooftop garden, a transformed ground floor, and a crane that stole the show.
We’re incredibly proud to have delivered the landscape transformation at Glen Eira College, a project that pushed the boundaries of what’s possible when great teams come together with a shared vision.
From hundreds of plants going into the ground floor, to custom planters being craned four storeys into the sky, this one had it all. Meticulous planning, creative problem-solving, and more than a little excitement when the crane rolled in.
What we delivered
✔️ Full ground floor landscape installation including mass planting, mulching and irrigation
✔️ Hundreds of plants carefully selected and installed across both levels
✔️ Complete irrigation system to keep the landscape thriving long-term
✔️ Rooftop garden on the fourth storey — designed, planned and craned into place
✔️ Custom planters and furniture by H2O Designs lifted to the rooftop by crane
✔️ Collaborative delivery coordinated across builders, architects, crane operators and suppliers
✔️ Ongoing site management throughout a complex, multi-level build
Why it matters
Projects like Glen Eira College are a reminder of what landscape construction can be when the ambition matches the execution. Getting greenery to a rooftop four floors up isn’t just a logistics challenge, it’s a statement about how much this school values its outdoor spaces and the wellbeing of the students who use them.

Every planter, every plant, every metre of irrigation pipe was part of a bigger picture, a school environment that feels alive, welcoming, and worth showing off.
