Adapt and upgrade their existing playground area, adapting it to more of a natural setting.

The need to include different textures and surfaces was expressed.

Construction of a new dry creek bed with natural mudstone rocks and recycled railway sleeper jetty. Installation included a vertical sleeper play area, which created a sensory discovery area for the children, and also gave the landscape some height and focal interest.

Establishment of a mud kitchen and mud pit gave the kids a new area to play in and get creatively muddy.

The creation and delivery of new looking playground on a budget and working with a client who had the kids experience front of mind, was a rewarding project for all involved.

“We recently engaged Brocor Landscape Construction to upgrade the children’s outdoor play space at our Child and Family Centre. From our initial contact with Mark we felt confident he understood what we wanted to achieve, he added suggestions and stepped us through the final design.  The team were highly professional and took the time to acknowledge the children’s interest in the project making it a wonderful learning experience for them.  Mark maintained contact throughout the construction process to ensure that we were happy with each stage and to explain the next steps.  Our Educators are thrilled with the results which have really changed the way children use the space.”
