Brief
In partnership, Cushman and Wakefield & Brocor were engaged to construct an Amphitheatre and undertake other small projects to improve the aesthetics of Kororoit Creek Primary School. The Amphitheatre was to provide a space for outside learning and meetings for staff and students. The project delivered features that supported learning across the curriculum while also providing an improved playtime resources.
Result
Open and ongoing communication ensured the project would meet and exceed the expectations of the Amphitheatre’s end users.Our talented in-house team carried out the entire build from start to finish.
The build involved:
•rock drilling and pier installation to create the footing of the amphitheatre
•in-situ concrete seats
•impact absorbing rubber
•recycled composite timber used for seating
•irrigation systems
•synthetic turf areas
•feature paving incorporating school family pavers
•soft landscaping focused on using low maintenance and hardy native plants
